Designed by Claude Garamond (1480-1561), it is the best example of an old style font and it is a print font that has the name of its creator.

Garamond is a very classic font and its shape seems like a gentleman that is nodding his head to someone.
elegant garamond font doesn’t have much different between horizontal and vertical strokes, and bracket serifs are circular which make round letters such as “o”s are slightly off center.
