Along time ago i read a Japnese novel called . The story is a memorable one about a mother and daughter who fall in love with the same man, and reminiscent of a morning drama. The novel wasn’t actually memorable beause of the story. The protagonist talked about the legend of a cherry blosson tree where a corpse was buried bloomed flowers more red. She couldn’t handle the conflict with her daughter and ends up taking her own life under the tree. The cover of the book was also memorable because of grotesquely beauitful artwork of the cherry blossom tree.

My heart is filled with hope everytime i listen to Buskerbusker’s “Bherry Blossom Ending.” it’s the perfect spring song that brings a bright light through your nostrils. It also has a bizzare beauty of the cherry blossom as in < Under the Cherry Blossom Tree >. Cherry blossoms are the most colorful right before they wither, like sparks that are the most powerful when on the verge of burning out.

Starting in 2022, they plan to use jeju as the test area and expand from there.

Cherry trees in yeouido and jinhae are actually Japanese. This causes controversy but it is also key player in tourism revenue. It might be Japanese but the masses gather to shake away the winter and take in the beauty. Despite this, in 2014, there was an incident where a number of yeouido cherry blossoms were cut down. It was done by a man with a strong sense of patriotism who could no longer watch so many people affected by the Japanese cherry blossoms. Of course, if you think of our colonial history, he might have felt disturbed by the younger generation who are immersed by Japanese culture through the cherry blossoms. However, this may be unfair to the cherry trees that take a long time for their beautiful flowers to bloom.
