It really was an enviable life. She achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a children’s book author and illustrator, and at over the age of 50, she started to live in the forests of Vermont with animals while making clothes out of a floral fabric! Tasha’s philosophy of living her days in nature while making each of her dreams come true was envious rather than living a house in a big 20-30 thousand pyeong (16-24 acres) piece of land. Above all, her love of flowers, trees, birds, and animals was particularly admirable.

Born in Boston to an upperclass family, she wrote aroud 100 pieces and her illustrations such as and became known to the world by being used in the Christmas cards of the White House. However, what actually made the name Tasha Tudor famous to the world was her British garden and naturalist lifestyle.

Tasha Tudor walked barefoot in the garden she decorated for 40 years while wearing clothes and living the lifestyle of the 18th century. Tasha Tudor, who received the Regina Medal, an award given to the best children’s book author, inspired dreams in many. An illustrator and painter Americans love the most, she is now beloved by the world and started a true eco-friendly life.
